  • Four airline carriers offer a variety of domestic flights to eight cities throughout the southeastern portion of the U.S. Each connection offers direct destinations across the globe. 

Kansas City Southern (KCS), located onsite, directly accesses the mid-west U.S. and Mexico. Kansas City Southern (KCS) is located onsite with direct access to the mid-west U.S. and Mexico. For products moving to and from Canada or the West Coast, the Canadian National (CN) rail line extends from Jackson to Memphis, interchanges with Burlington Northern Santa Fe and Union Pacific, and then continues to Canada.

  • Just 8.5 miles from the EMC site is an 85-acre intermodal ramp with capacity for 300 rail cars and a 55-acre transload center which handles plastics, food products, clay, timber products and steel.
  • Jackson, MS is the headquarters for CN’s United States central sub-region.

The Port of Vicksburg, a Mississippi River Port (Mile 437), is located 55 miles west of the EMC site. A designated Foreign Trade Zone (FTA), the Port of Entry maintains U.S. Customs service to process cargo from across the globe. The ZTA is extended in the EMC Park.
